[Kodak, TN] Messenger Media has been selected by Wildfire Studios as one of the top 100 non-profit organizations to receive benefits from their international “Give Back” program. Wildfire and their team will be working to raise awareness and funding on behalf of Messenger Media in 2011. “We were stunned when Wildfire contacted us. I had no idea they even knew who we were, let alone considered including us in their innovative “Give Back” initiative. We’re very grateful.” said Don Mondell, founder of Messenger Media. Another organization recently helped by Wildfire Studios has been Urban Connection (urbanconnection.com) serving the homeless on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles, California.

Messenger Media (MMI) produces a "Docommercial" (five-10 minute documentary) of a missionary's project. The Docommercial will be available for the missionary's website and shown on MMI's Missions News Network, as well as included in The Work of the Church. A missionary is never charged for this service.

MMI is further developing the "TV" approach to broadcasting "God at work" by using the vehicle of online video. In that manner, Missions News Network runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year reporting on the progress of missionaries around the world. MMI will apply years of marketing experience to make certain the program receives top recognition, thus mass exposure, in hope that missionaries will then receive further support.
The
Work of the Church
MMI is in development on The Work of the Church - What God is Doing in the World Today, a "National Geographic-like" DVD library of global missions work. The library will include missionary project films, and associated curriculum suitable for personal, small group, Sunday School or classroom use. The library will also be submitted to public libraries.
CareFULL!
MMI places a professional, licensed Christian counselor onsite during project filming to build up missionaries with encouragement, prayer, and counseling care; we call it, CareFULL! Continuing personal ministry to missionaries is then available after filming via Skype and other suitable technologies.
